Selma, Alabama

We are so pleased to introduce Liz Brown Hunyh as our new Selma site coordinator. Liz is laying the groundwork for a relaunch of our Selma site in 2020. Look for updates soon!

What we are doing now...

Site coordinator Margaret Bennett worked with COT from July of 2017 until late fall 2018. Margaret worked closely with community partners to develop programming in Selma.

How COT started in Selma...

Selma is a city of revival, and Communities of Transformation is thrilled to play a role in that revival. On August 17, 2015, Selma held their first Taste and See event. Approximately 80 people attended - the largest crowd for a Taste and See yet! Today, with the hard work and partnership of multiple churches, advocate Judge Bob Armstrong, the Dallas County Family Resource Center, and many more, COT Selma began building relationships with those who live without enough.
