Foley Community Book Discussion

Ecumenical Ministries, churches, and other local leaders are joining together to
participate in a community discussion on What Every Church Member needs to
Know About Poverty. This book by Bill Ehlig and Ruby Payne will provide the basis
for a discussion led by Rev. Alecia Glaize for 6 weeks in the Foley United
Methodist Church Spirit Center. It will be held in the same time slot as the South
Baldwin Ecumenical Lenten Luncheons were held—from 11:30 a.m. -12:45 p.m.—
beginning April 25. Lunch is provided with a suggested donation of $5. Books will
be available for purchase on the first day. First come, first served so come early!
Everyone is welcome to join the conversation!
